Job Title: Broker/Manager


Location: Etobicoke


Hours: Monday – Friday, 9AM-5PM and flexible as required


Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 per year plus recruitment bonus


Status: Employee

Position Summary

The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen eye to detect potential in up and coming realtors. This Broker/Manager thrives on leading, coaching and developing others in their pursuit of real estate sales.


This individual will be highly motivated, with above average interpersonal skills and will be an enthusiastic self-starter with outstanding attraction, retention and coaching skills. Must be a team player and highly collaborative; someone who can build and nurture relationships while providing Realtor support. The right candidate will be a great communicator and relationship builder, very personable with a ready smile and a positive, can-do attitude. Having a background in real estate is imperative, as you will be dealing with listing agreements, offers, and issues relating to transactions and compliance.


Primary Roles include: Agent Attraction Support; Agent Support; and branch operations.

Reports to: Owner of Brokerage


Position responsibilities include the following duties

  • Assist and advise Realtors with all real estate transactions as needed.
  • Provide ongoing basic training, mentoring and support to salespeople to assist with productivity and maintenance of brokerage’s sales targets
  • Assist with conflict resolution with clients or Realtors and handle the issues in a professional and positive manner.
  • Responsible for general management of the branch
  • Provide guidance to resolve problems and complications that arise during the real estate sales process.
  • Responsible to ensure that the branch complies with the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 and its regulations, Fintrac C.A.S.L., Competition Act
  • Respond to inbound queries in a timely fashion, and facilitate an overall smooth customer service experience for Realtors and Clients.
  • Work closely with the Brokerage Owner to ensure brokerage corporate policies and standards are being met by both salespeople and staff in the branch
  • Attend important networking or industry events as needed, representing our office in a professional manner. Working with other Managers and Employees
  • Train employees and independent contractors regarding all aspects of real estate as needed, on an ongoing basis.
  • Responsible for hiring and management of new salespeople who fit the culture and meet hiring standards of brokerage


Qualifications

  • Managing websites and social media platforms
  • Great interpersonal skills in person, over the phone and via electronic communication.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic social media, the MLS system, and other software systems as needed.
  • Excellent organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-confident with an outgoing personality.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have superb problem solving/conflict resolution skills
  • Highly preferred to have at least 2 years of real estate experience.
  • Valid Ontario Broker License
  • Must have very strong leadership skills, while also being able to listen to and absorb direction, work on a team, and manage staff as well.
