ça va de soi is a knitwear house specializing in knitwear founded in 1989.

Odile Bougain and Antoine Nasri decided to step outside of the box, in an era of overconsumption in the ready-to-wear industry. It's the story of a connection and a mutual passion for style and "Slow Fashion" that lead to the creation of the Montreal based knitwear house.

ça va de soi produces timeless classic knits based on real life, between the collection of pure classics and the "avant-garde" creations that punctuate the seasons, the common thread of inspiration never breaks; starting with the material, followed by colour, and the shape. We never start from scratch when we rely on exceptional raw materials.

ça va de soi now has 6 stores, 3 in Montreal, one in Quebec city, one in Ottawa, and one in Toronto.

A brand ambassador at ça va de soi is first and foremost a passionate person with strong abilities in human interactions and driven for sales.

And will achieve a high volume of personal sales through clientele development and product knowledge, in full compliance with the operating standards, policies and procedures of ça va de soi

Responsibilities / Skills

High-end service to niche clientele.

Assist the manager in all managerial tasks.

Merchandising, implementing monthly thematics in surfaces, hangings, displays.

Customer Focus: Meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Having a good business analytics sens to read, discuss and prepare reports with manager.

Participate in Marketing strategies and implementations.

A good knowledge base on natural fibres and knitwear specialty is provided during training.

Continuous training is provided to stay up-to-date on all specialties,

Collection swaps (4 times / year) includes physical work and handling ~ 20kg boxes

Weekend availabilities are required

30 hours / week

Shopify, Microsoft suite

Qualifications

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French
