Ba Tester Jobs

Calian Digital Solutions is seeking Test BA (Tester Business Analyst) to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. As a BA Tester, you will combine the responsibilities of a Business Analyst and a QA Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements, ultimately contributing to the overall quality and functionality of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Record and document test results using project templates.
• Ensure that test documentation is up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible by team members.
• Provide valuable feedback on user experience and suggest improvements based on testing results.
• Participate in conformance testing when required.
• Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test scripts.
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure they meet the defined requirements.
• Identify and document defects and issues, tracking them through to resolution and verifying fixes.
• Provide timely updates on test issues using our issue management tool.
• Design and develop test scripts based on project templates and testing standards.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive and detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the software meets end-user expectations.
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and update test scripts using project templates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and software developers to understand business requirements and functional specifications.
• Assist in requirements gathering and analysis when needed, supporting the Business Analysts in defining project scope and objectives.
• Escalate any roadblocks or challenges to the Project Managers.

Required Skills:

• 5+ combined years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Software Tester, preferably in a software development environment.
• Experience interacting with various stakeholders is considered to be an asset.
• Familiarity with various testing tools and bug tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools will be beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields is preferred.
• Previous experience in industries such as healthcare
• Excellent analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience with JIRA, Smartsheets, and Office365
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, APIs, etc., and experience with Meditech preferred.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from business requirements.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Experience with regression testing and UAT scenarios.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on thoroughness and accuracy in testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is considered an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
