About The Team

The Journeys Team is looking for exceptional individuals to build out the core services, applications, and algorithms that enable the creation of personalized, next generation workplaces. We're solving some tough problems in finding and organizing content, relevance, relatedness, integrations, and infrastructure. We build high-quality applications and micro-services and also care deeply about how our services operate in production with attention paid to testing, monitoring, logging and delivery.

About The Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer, with a strong automation background, who is passionate about quality and building a world class automation infrastructure. As a Quality Engineer you will have the opportunity to work with Developers and Product Managers to help build a new generation of on-demand Enterprise solutions designed to meet the needs of today's global businesses.

In this role you can expect to...

• Determine where and how Automation can be incorporated
• Manually execute tests for specific workflows when proper automation is difficult or impossible (e.g. testing for perceived responsiveness)
• Manual Ad Hoc and Exploratory testing -- break our stuff!
• Be a scrum team member on an agile software development team
• Focus on incorporating test strategies throughout the development process
• Work with the developers to implement automated tests
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers and other team members to identify and implement test plans

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with scripting/automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
• 2+ years in QA, Test Automation or Development
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Passion for technology and the web
• A positive attitude and are an excellent communicator
• A track record as a champion of quality
• Experience with AWS environments
