Job Description
What You'll Do


The Supply Chain Projects team works on strategic initiatives across all Canadian Tire Supply Chain banners, providing our stakeholders with innovative solutions. We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to support PMO activities such as supporting investment planning for the strategic and sustainment portfolios, managing/maintaining the Supply Chain roadmap containing over initiatives, resource capacity planning, allocations tracking, supporting creation and tracking of budgets, forecasting, reporting and analysis of various large enterprise initiatives/programs/portfolios the team has accountability for. This position will report to a Project Manager.


  • Lead and facilitate meetings with multiple Stakeholders to track Portfolio health containing large capital and IT initiatives and programs.
  • Lead the development of financial reports on Forecast vs Plan to support reviews with the leadership team.
  • Support the development of an intake process and prioritization process to add new ideas/initiative requests to the roadmap and enable the prioritization of initiatives.
  • Work with Project Managers to prepare monthly forecasts and executive reports/presentations.
  • Lead the creation of dashboards and reports to support monthly/quarterly reviews of the 3–5-year Supply Chain Roadmap.
  • Support the annual capital planning/investment planning process for the strategic and sustainment portfolios.


What You Bring


  • University degree (in Accounting/ Finance is an asset)
  • Intermediate working knowledge in Power BI
  • Experience supporting Annual Investment / Capital Planning at the Portfolio level
  • 3 years of experience creating budgets for large projects/programs and tracking financials at the project/program/portfolio level
  • Proven ability to retrieve information from multiple sources and work with large amounts of data
  • 5 years of experience working on “Projects (preferably capital/construction projects) and providing project management support in a PMO environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert working knowledge of excel – Macros, Pivot tables, Formulas etc
