Assistant Contracts Manager Jobs

Summary

Herity is looking to expand its office team with an Assistant Contracts Manager.The successful candidate for this role will enjoy the opportunity to work directly with Herity’s construction team and be actively involved with its Heathwood Homes construction projects.An ideal candidate will have had previous experience and/or education in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Contracts Manager to ensure that priorities are constantly being met as required and to maintain harmonization
• Completion of other supportive functions as directed by the Contracts Manager
• Review architectural plans and floor layouts

Requirements

• Desire to learn new skills
• Happy to work in a team-based environment
• Ability to prepare large quantities of data for upload into web-based construction software
• Expert abilities in Microsoft Excel including the use of VLOOKUP functions and development of Pivot Tables
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Previous experience and/or education in the construction industry with knowledge of current building products and principles within Ontario is strongly preferred
• Capable of managing multiple projects at once
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting floor layouts and architectural plans
• Ability to complete software programming would be an asset in this role
• Ability to prioritize from a large volume of tasks

Salary Range

$50,000-$60,000 annually commensurate with experience
