Job Description

Horizon is seeking an experienced Analytics Developer on behalf of our client, SaskPower, for a 15-month contract role.


This role is for a developer to help implement and mature SaskPower's Asset Performance Management (APM) solution leveraging Intelligent Process Solution (IPS) software suite.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing, optimizing & supporting the IPS platform in support of asset management business process.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps between project requirement and data available
  • Interface with other technology teams to coordinate design efforts around integration, security, network, and server requirements
  • Configure algorithms, event triggers & other application based operations
  • Configure and develop dashboard and reports
  • Identify feasibility and impacts on current environment
  • Document design and configuration development
  • Upgrade & maintenance of the application environment
  • Data loading asset information, condition, work management, and financial data
  • Ensure that best practices are followed
  • Identify tasks and provide estimates to the project manager


Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in support of computer technology
  • 2+ years experience as a software developer
  • Experience with IPS Energy Software Suite - focused on Asset Performance Management & Advanced Analytics
