Currently enrolled in a computing science, computer engineering or information management related program

Keen interest in data management as it applies to business intelligence and analytics

Liaises with business, technology, and support teams to ensure business requirements are met

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred

Experience with relational databases and SQL is preferred but not required

Experience with programming languages such as Python and C# is preferred but not required

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience in leading and managing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities from data insights.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related disciplines).

Strong expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.).

You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or related discipline.

You are a skilled storyteller who enjoys presenting through PowerPoint and/or Word.

You have experience identifying issues and challenges within sales data and developing data driven solutions to address them.

You are a proven manager of people, able to motivate a team to deliver best in class sales reporting and forecasting.

Taking ownership of creating and maintaining real-time sales forecasts to support the business goals and objectives.

You will create and then lead the sales forecasting process for the team.

Proven years of experience preferred in sales reporting & analytics

Experienced user of Tableau (or similar) required

Experienced user of PowerPoint required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to routinely interact with leadership

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Advanced user of Microsoft Excel with a strong background in financial modeling or analytics

Experience with IPS Energy Software Suite - focused on Asset Performance Management & Advanced Analytics

Data loading asset information, condition, work management, and financial data

Identify gaps between project requirement and data available

Identify tasks and provide estimates to the project manager

Interface with other technology teams to coordinate design efforts around integration, security, network, and server requirements

Post secondary education in support of computer technology

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in highly collaborative environments

Translate business requirements into data models that will help stakeholders answer key business questions and inform strategic decisions

Experience with a cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, Bigquery, Redshift)

Experience working as part of a data team; either a data analyst, data scientist, or data engineer

Excellent communicator who is able to translate business requirements into data models and maintain clear

Knowledge of another programming language e.g. Python is a plus

Experience in financial analysis, accounting skills and commercial acumen

Knowledge/experience with Spotfire, Access-Nice to Have

Previous finance/banking experience-Nice to Have

Manage vendor invoice payments to include coding, accruals, and forecasting support.

Provide advisory invoice payment support through G/L and responsibility code knowledge and research and escalate as required.

Maintain working knowledge of Bank policy for financial analysis and relevant source systems and financial reporting tools

Facilitate collaborative sessions with Sales Directors, Agency Managers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to accelerate sales output opportunities

Manage National Sales plan and bonus targets to ensure Sales Agents drive the desired level of compensation for business results achieved

University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Math is preferred or equivalent working experience

Minimum 5 years work experience in a sales planning, expense planning and data analytical role

Excellent communication, probing and collaboration skills

Experience using SAP a definite asset
