Analyst, Capital Markets Jobs

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst, Capital Markets. As an integral member of our investment team, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis of capital market opportunities across various sectors. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to maximizing risk/return potential and generating alpha for our investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth fundamental analysis of assigned capital market issuers and sectors.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk monitoring tools and investment processes.
• Generate investment recommendations based on comprehensive research and analysis.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to support investment decision-making processes.
• Conduct meetings and engage with corporate management teams, investment bankers, and analysts.
• Monitor and report on relevant market trends, news, and developments.

Requirements:

• CFA designation or progress toward obtaining it.
• Strong knowledge and experience in analyzing capital market securities, including corporate investment grade and high yield, emerging market, and securitization.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office suites.
• Master's degree (M.Sc. or MBA) is considered an asset.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Excellent research skills with a keen attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• 0-4 years of experience in investment or financial services positions.
• Knowledge of Python programming language.
