We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting clerk to join a team in the Manufacturing industry located in the Barrie,ON.

Responsibilities
In this Accounting Clerk role in Barrie, you will be responsible for:
  • Perform data entry for vendor invoices
  • Provide other accounting support as required
  • Check authorizations and account coding
  • Generate invoices and account statements
  • Maintain the Accounts Payable mailbox – reply to vendors’ inquiries, and manage online invoices
  • Reconcile vendor accounts balance and accounts payable balance
  • Make appropriate accounting entries to reflect transactions
  • Confirming daily deposits with the bank account
  • File invoices
  • Communicate directly with vendors to resolve payment and other queries
  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records
  • Check for accurate coding of GL entries, including the allocations of costs
Qualifications
This Accounting Clerk role located in Barrie requires:
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
  • 1+ year of Accounting experience or post-secondary education in Finance & Accounting
  • Ability to work onsite full time in Barrie
  • Strong communication skills
