Job Description
Our fashion importer client is looking for an experienced Accountant / CPA to add to their growing team! This is a 3 day per week opportunity.
Responsibilities
  • Offering support to the accounting team and ensuring that entries are properly recorded
  • Calculation of volume rebates
  • Bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations
  • Intercompany Loan reconciliation
  • Calculation and reporting of Amortization, Prepaids and Accruals
  • Closing the month, AP, AR and GL
  • Preparation of the year end Audit file
  • FX adjustments
  • Financial reporting and assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements
  • GST/TVQ Declarations
  • Preparation and posting of Journal entries
Requirements
  • Experience with full cycle accounting
  • Fluently bilingual
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an accountant, bonus points if you have experience in the fashion industry
