Our client, a Canadian multinational energy transportation company with a focus on the transportation, distribution, and generation of energy, has an immediate need for an IT Auditor. This is a contract position for one (1) year located in Calgary, Alberta.

Description

The Auditor win this role will work with Governance, Risk and Compliance staff to help reconcile discrepancies or support the TIS assurance function.

Accountabilities.

• Assesses adherence to IT Standards of various departments within an organization to ensure cybersecurity and compliance with internal policy and best practice.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Identifies improper records and documentation and researches issues and makes recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.

Required

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, written and oral communication, and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT audit field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Technology with previous Audit / Risk experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant degree required
