Home Care Assistance has an opportunity for a LIVE IN Caregiver/PSW position for Sunday 0800 am to Monday 0800 am available in the Woodbridge Area. You will be caring for an elderly man recovering from stroke Assistance is needed with but not limited to morning care and bed time routine, heavy transfers, meal preparation, medication management, light housekeeping, personal care, companionship, range of motion exercises and ambulatory support if needed.

Job Requirements:

We're looking for the best! Here's what we'd like to see:

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• PSW Certificate or other relevant training
• Must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including the ability to assist clients with lifts/transfers, standing, walking, sitting and repositioning.
• At least 3 years experience working with Stroke cases preferred
• A positive attitude and the ability to prioritize client’s needs.
