Overview Workforce Planners are responsible for developing and implementing workforce plans that ensure the right people are in the right jobs at the right time. They analyze current and future workforce needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and monitor the effectiveness of those strategies. Detailed Job Description Workforce Planners are responsible for developing and implementing workforce plans that ensure the right people are in the right jobs at the right time. They analyze current and future workforce needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and monitor the effectiveness of those strategies. They must be able to identify and analyze trends in the labor market, understand the impact of technology on the workforce, and develop strategies to address changing workforce needs. They must also be able to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that workforce plans are aligned with organizational goals. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in workforce planning or a related field
• Certification in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or a related field is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of labor market trends and the impact of technology on the workforce
• Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures
• Knowledge of strategic planning and project management
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in workforce planning or a related field
• Experience developing and implementing workforce plans
• Experience analyzing current and future workforce needs
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Job Responsibilities
• Analyze current and future workforce needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
• Monitor the effectiveness of workforce plans and make adjustments as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure that workforce plans are aligned with organizational goals
• Identify and analyze trends in the labor market
• Develop and implement strategies to address changing workforce needs
• Prepare reports and presentations on workforce planning initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to other departments
