• Master's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience.

• Must have excellent research skills with a focus on web based research and statistical analysis;

• Excellent communication skills including strong writing skills and ability to concisely summarize qualitative and quantitative information;

Advanced knowledge and experience with an integrated student record system (e.g. Banner).

Two (2) years of related experience in the business area of expertise, preferably in a Registrar's Office.

Knowledge of post-secondary policy and procedures, programs and registrarial processes.

Knowledge of the BC post-secondary system.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Strong computer skills, including knowledge of e-mail software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel and Access is an asset.

Basic knowledge of major educational systems (Nigeria, China, Vietnam, Brazil and India).

3 year diploma/degree plus professional certification or equivalent in Public Relations, Accounting, Business or equivalent

Practical experience in a complex service environment that includes financial transactions.

Excellent interpersonal, listening and customer service skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proven planning skills and decision-making abilities;

Sound computer and keyboarding skills including experience with the MS Office Suite;

Minimum three (3) years full-time related progressive office experience in a service area or in a business office setting;

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and well-developed listening skills;

Excellent client service skills; diplomacy and sound judgement is essential;

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

Effective time management skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure in demanding situations

Receiving and responding to telephone, written, in-person, and electronic inquiries on programs, and admission requirements

Ensuring that all qualified applicants have met the published Ministry and College admission requirements and selection criteria

Reviewing the admissions process with the Manager of International Admissions and making recommendations for implementing and refining admission procedures and systems

Two-year Diploma in Business, Office Administration, Education, or related field

Three years of practical experience in student/client services and experience working with multiple large database systems and international students

Extensive knowledge of database management and accounting programs

Demonstrated proficiency in: communication, confidentiality, working effectively with other cultures, organization and document management skills,

Experience in youth programming or international programs

Cover sick and vacation days for Finance Officer or other staff as needed; and

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business/Accounting

Current Nova Scotia driver’s license

· 3+ years of experience in purchasing and inventory management.

· Interface with peers, supervisors, management on purchasing issues.
