A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a managerial role.

Manage and resolve IT help desk requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential benefits and making recommendations for adoption to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Conduct thorough due diligence to assess their capabilities, expertise, track record, and compatibility with the program's requirements.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and contract management.

Proficiency in using procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, contract management platforms).

RFP experience in public sector or previous involvement in public sector is an important factor.

The candidate’s experience should be focused in IT IS procurement.

Proven experience (at least X years) in procurement, preferably in a large-scale business transformation program or within a comparable industry.

Experience with use of helpdesk ticket intake management systems as an asset

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management essential

Proficiency in project management delivery concepts a strong asset

Manage and co-ordinate technical resources for the delivery of IT services

Strong skill set in communicating complex technological information and ideas in relatable terms

Demonstrated knowledge in server and desktop virtualization

Five or more years of experience in IT management

Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, networks security and related technologies.

Excellent working knowledge of VOIP phone systems

Familiarity with proximity card door systems

Strong creative and analytical thinking

Minimum 7 years in Cyber Security leadership/senior management/senior roles, preferably within the electric/energy utility sector or other large/multi-national organization.
