Two (2) years of previous experience in programming, analyzing large complex databases and/or project management is required;

Successful completion of a three-year community college diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field;

Knowledge of system interfacing, troubleshooting, documenting and training methods required in order to implement and maintain interfaces with other systems;

Written skills to write proposals, prepare correspondence, technical user documentation and instructions for user reference;

Able to meet the testing and police security requirements and to maintain confidentiality; and

Assist in drafting police service Information System policy, procedure and related documents; and

• Experience working at a post-secondary education institution considered an asset.

• Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Analyzes, edits, documents, and translates business and functional requirements.

• More than 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience.

• Experience in developing and/or maintaining Enterprise Systems considered an asset.

• Experience working in a comparable client-focused environment considered an asset.

Experience with provincial Management Information Systems (OHRS/MIS) and Geographic Information Systems software an asset.

Supports definition, development and reporting of key indicators for home and community care performance management, quality improvement and accountability reporting.

Reports risks with causes, impacts or mitigations beyond scope of responsibility to management.

University degree or college diploma in computer science, data management or related field

Knowledge of the interRAI suite of tools and experience with the HCCSS Client Health and Related Information System (CHRIS) an asset.

Participates in quality assurance/software testing of provincial initiatives to ensure the solution meets the identified requirements.

Experience in product management with an FX role

Knowledge of QA tools, concepts and methodologies. Experience with test automation a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years relevant business/finance experience.

Work with the Product team during the development of business requirements development to create a comprehensive test plan.

Author and update internal and external documentation and formally initiate and deliver technical requirements and documentation

Craft requirement documents with technical specifications, functionalities and/or user stories

Act as a project expert who has an intimate understanding of the service offering
