Working within a team environment, this role will have the following responsibilities
Design new programs along with all required supporting materials – presentations, business cases (costs/savings), implementation plans, system requirements and communications
Minimum of 8 years related Compensation experience within a large organization or a consulting organization
Advanced knowledge of HR and Compensation theory, principles and practices, with exposure to sales compensation a definite asset
Applied knowledge of statistical methods (i.e. measures of central tendency, regression analysis, forecasting & modeling)
Proficiency with MS Office, and expert knowledge of Excel
Worker's Compensation Case Manager

· Coordinating case management activities including developing, implementing and monitoring return to work and rehabilitation strategies
· Paralegal license would be an asset, but is not a requirement
· Meeting with clients to review internal workplace injury issues
· Liaising with the provincial Workers’ Compensation Boards
· Interpreting provincial workers’ compensation legislation, policies and procedures
· Filing reports of injury, identifying appeal issues, drafting letters of objection
