Provide advice, briefing notes and other information requested by Department Senior Management.

Management and delivery of the Future Farmer Program.

Program management and financial management.

Must have excellent skills in written and oral communication, conflict resolution, organization and extension practices;

The incumbent needs strong skill sets in the following areas:

Strong time-management skills and a proven track record of delivering quality results, with attention to details.

Completed some Post-secondary education in Business Marketing, Events, Tourism, or related field required, or a combination of previous experience.

Knowledge of integrated marketing/promotional campaigns with experience leading content and creative execution which aligns with brand standards.

Strong organizational and presentation skills including demonstrated experience in writing business documentation.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

Knowledge of marketing and communications principles.

Keyboarding skills and basic computer knowledge

Plan and organize your work responsibilities and processes to perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures which include:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience

Current experience working in Specimen Processing/Pre and Post Analytics is an asset

As workload demands and operational requirements shift, the location, dates and/or hours of work may be changed

Degree or vocational qualifications in a relevant discipline, like facilities management, building work, project management or health and safety.

Experience of risk management and championing health and safety at work.

Undertake duty management and first aid cover as required, including occasional weekend working.

Prepare COSHH assessments and the safe management of chemicals.

Substantial experience in a wide range of maintenance/DIY tasks, including practical skills in basic plumbing, electrical, joinery and grounds-keeping.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with experience of engaging with a variety of audiences, including colleagues, contractors and the public.
