A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
Assemble mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic systems based on instructions, assembly drawings, system subassemblies, components and appropriate raw materials.
Calculate the thickness of shims required to meet the geometric tolerances (runout, parallelism, coaxially) of the drawings.
Use precision instruments to measure and control parts of various shapes (e.g. micrometer, vernier scale, microscope and electronic measuring devices).
Be familiar with precision standards.
