Job Description
Role And Responsibilities


The candidates must be able to repair, modify and perform the final precision assembly of any type or mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic system parts according to the conditions, criteria and details required for the position.


The role that we are proposing:


  • Calculate the thickness of shims required to meet the geometric tolerances (runout, parallelism, coaxially) of the drawings.
  • Use precision instruments to measure and control parts of various shapes (e.g. micrometer, vernier scale, microscope and electronic measuring devices).
  • Perform manual bench machining operations or on conventional machine tools (e.g. measure, rivet, saw, drill, file, rectify, thread, remove screws, bolts and threads, use a pipe-bending machine and rotate wire bobbins (AIMS)).
  • Assemble mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic systems based on instructions, assembly drawings, system subassemblies, components and appropriate raw materials.
  • Interpret mechanical assembly plans, circuit and hydraulic diagrams, and assess the operation of the circuit (using detail drawings, illustrations showing an assembly method and work procedures (aeronautics)).


The candidate we are looking for has:


  • Be familiar with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.
  • Professional Study Diploma in Electromechanic. Any other equivalent combination of the required qualifications will be considered.
  • Functional French is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Be familiar with precision standards.
