Overview Travel Medical Lab Technicians are responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures in a variety of medical settings. They are responsible for collecting, preparing, and analyzing specimens, as well as recording and interpreting results. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Detailed Job Description Travel Medical Lab Technicians are responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in a variety of medical settings. They must be able to collect, prepare, and analyze specimens, as well as record and interpret results. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols. They must be able to communicate effectively with other medical personnel and patients. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively with other medical personnel and patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to analyze and interpret laboratory results
• Ability to maintain accurate records
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
