We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Lab Assistant to join our cohesive Lab team within the friendly community of Salmon Arm, BC.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary and shifts may be at short notice. What will you work on?
The Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of duties within the site, such as taking blood samples from patients, preparing blood and other specimens for analysis, performing routine lab tests, distributing specimens within the Core Lab and outside Laboratories, operating related equipment, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and performing related clerical duties. Performs ECG testing as required.
