10+ years of asset based trucking experience

Experience in the refrigerated trucking industry

Provide leadership and direction to a team of people.

Support and guide the safety, driver recruiting team

Liasion with the Maintenance team

Drive and encourage development of employees

5+ years of relevant product management experience with a track record of delivering excellent user experiences

Experience working on products with developer interfaces (APIs, SDKs)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hands-on, meaning you only ship functionality after you’ve personally tested it and considered documentation through integration experiences holistically

Experience interacting directly with customers for feedback

Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience required.

5 years of management experience required. Those with experience managing a union environment will be given preference.

Participate in weekly meetings with Management.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in the transportation industry.

Excellent leadership qualities and management skills.

Lead the development and implementation of project management plans and the application of risk management and change management best practices.

Work closely with the Project Controls Department to ensure pro-active budgeting and cost management.

Establish and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality and performance metrics in accordance with Departmental and Divisional polices and directives.

Lead the development of project business case(s) including the development of related demand forecasts and benefits analysis to support project justification.

Preferably experienced in managing projects and programs involving supply chain, port operations and extensive public consultation.

· Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking industry

· Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations

· Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees

· Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills

Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:

Monday - Friday 5:00PM to 3:00AM

Strong analytical and budget management experience

Develop, Coach, and Manage team, providing communication through meetings, employee reviews, and feedback

Manage and monitor budget, profit, and loss

8+ years of experience in transportation, in a leadership role

Experience with LTL freight; forklift certified

Flexible schedule to manage 24 hour operation
