Transport Terminal Manager Jobs in Nova Scotia

7-10 years of supervisory/management experience required with increasing responsibilities in operations

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management

Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills

Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written

Energy, enthusiasm, and a professional demeanor

Responsible for all operational areas relating to Transport and Courier while ensuring efficiencies and meeting on-time service goals

· Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking industry

· Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations

· Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees

· Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills

Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:

Monday - Friday 5:00PM to 3:00AM

Strong analytical and budget management experience

Develop, Coach, and Manage team, providing communication through meetings, employee reviews, and feedback

Manage and monitor budget, profit, and loss

8+ years of experience in transportation, in a leadership role

Experience with LTL freight; forklift certified

Flexible schedule to manage 24 hour operation
