A Traffic Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety of pedestrians and motorists in a designated area. They are responsible for directing traffic, issuing parking tickets, and enforcing traffic laws.What is Traffic Attendant Skills Required?
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
What is Traffic Attendant Qualifications?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Certification in traffic control or related field (preferred)
What is Traffic Attendant Knowledge?
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Knowledge of local geography
• Knowledge of basic first aid
What is Traffic Attendant Experience?
• Previous experience in traffic control or related field (preferred)
What is Traffic Attendant Responsibilities?
• Direct traffic in a safe and efficient manner
• Issue parking tickets and enforce traffic laws
• Monitor traffic flow and respond to traffic incidents
• Assist pedestrians in crossing streets safely
• Provide directions and assistance to motorists
• Report any traffic violations or accidents to the appropriate authorities
