Able to learn and retain tour info – Encyclopedic knowledge of facts

Background in tour guiding, nature interpretation, performing arts and/or related experience an asset

Showcasing amazing space phenomena via hands-on demos

Operating telescopes and interpreting the night sky outside

Excellent organization, time management, and skilled at building professional relationships

Oversight/management of program assets (POS/inventory management and maintenance)

Management, set-up/break-down, and execution of footprint

Management of BA’s during program activations, where required

Previous production experience A PLUS (will need to set-up/breakdown at activations)

Experience driving 16 ft truck

The position requires a varied skill set including but not limited to:

· Previous leading experience or travel experience desired.

· Knowledge of other cultures & languages is preferable.

· Previous and/or teaching experience is helpful.

Ensuring that clients’ are adhering with tour guidelines, schedules, and requirements.

Assisting clients with their tour experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of the city / area.

Certification of some kind is preferred, though not necessary.
