Experience, Background & And Education Requirements

Account Management and Administrative (40%)

Building materials/construction industry experience is considered an asset

Sales training is minimal – excellent sales skills prerequisite.

2nd year OTE - $150,000

Company Vehicle or mileage allowance

Management of MS Office tools, AutoCAD

Offer technical support to our sales force and clients to facilitate adoption of innovative solutions

Knowledge of the Canadian codes and standards

Previous experience as technical consultant or designer

Civil Engineer with experience in the timber industry

Develop technical documentation and product evaluation reports

Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills

Present to management reports on progress as well as problems and solutions

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Engineering

Working closely with a Project Manager on larger projects or in a leadership capacity on smaller projects.

Prepare and manage project budget, schedule of values, progress billing and change orders

Manage project changes and delays to ensure that SCB is fairly compensated
