Technology Architect – Senior Jobs in Nova Scotia

Champion best practices across all aspects of API management while safeguarding data integrity and optimizing operational efficiencies.

Ability to oversee Vendor management and participate in customer advisory boards.

Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with API design patterns, RESTful principles, and API security protocols (oAuth, JWT etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field, with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in Information Technology.

Knowledge of system architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks and practices.

Experience with and knowledge of common Architecture patterns (e.g. Microservices, SOA, Event sourcing, etc.).

Ensure architecture solutions meet security requirements.

Lead the development and execution of a communication and education plan for enterprise architecture

Experience leveraging and integrating vendor platforms, including holding vendors to a technical standard

Experience with Cloud Native (12-Factor) Architecture and Infrastructure Pattern

Experience with Cloud Providers, Azure preferred and with PaaS

Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and other software tools such as project management tools

Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications)

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
