Technical Proposal Coordinator Jobs in British Columbia

Working knowledge of the engineering, procurement, and construction management consulting industry is highly desired.

In partnership with the Pursuit Manager, lead the proposal preparation and submission for small and medium scale pursuits.

Support the Pursuit Manager in coordinating the proposal kick-off meeting as well as scheduling and facilitating ongoing proposal coordination meetings.

Support clarifications and post-bid submission requirements.

Diploma or Degree in Business, Communications, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of proposal development experience, including at least 1 year of experience as a proposal coordinator.

●Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both with clients and internal staff

●Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

●Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a high data entry environment

●Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

●Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a related role or equivalent

●Experience with Design, Furniture and/or engineering businesses is an asset

Conduct research to gather information about clients, competitors and project requirements

Min of 2+ years of experience in a similar role

Construction, Engineering and or Architectural industry experience a must have.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Adobe Creative Suite experience a great asset as well as MS Office Suite

Proven experience within proposal coordination

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the professional services sector, spanning RFPs, RFQs, EOIs and client presentations.

Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment, and the ability to juggle competing and changing priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent experience in a related discipline.

Experience in the architecture and design industries is preferred.

Track opportunities and leads – Identify potential projects through a variety of channels

Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Write various proposal sections, including executive summaries, project descriptions (qualification summaries), matrices and CVs as required.

Strong computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop, and SharePoint Online is desirable.

Where appropriate, work with the graphic designer to conceptualize and integrate graphics to convey proposed solutions.

Ability to work in a team environment, working towards common goals and objectives.

Flexibility to work overtime to meet proposal deadlines as required.
