Incorporates appropriate skills into design work (e.g., statistics, operations research, organizational behavior, finance, accounting, information technology, etc.).

May participate in relationship management with customers, operations management, suppliers, and customer’s strategic planning partners.

5 – 7 years of experience with third-party logistics providers, Retail, or related Operations

1-3 years of experience leading, supervising, and/or managing a team of associates., preferred

Identified as a trusted business advisor and recognized as a subject matter expert.

Presents large, complex, multi-discipline solutions. Supports continuous improvement initiatives through development and validation of innovative logistics design solutions.

Education and experience applying lean quality improvement tools and techniques. Experience in organizations with well-established business process management systems is preferred.

Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, written and oral communication, critical thinking, analysis, consultation and team building skills.

Business development experience preferred, and a track record of fostering innovation.

Demonstrated commitment to utilizing research evidence and contributing to new knowledge generation through participation or leadership of research.

Minimally a Masters degree with scholarship in adult learning, human behaviour and decision making, and human relationship.

Member in good standing with an Ontario regulated health profession is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of Capital Project Management experience, including at least 5 years of leadership experience

Demonstrated skill/knowledge in the following areas:

Capital project management and project controls

Strong written and verbal communication skills with project manager, procurement, vendors/contractors, and leadership.

Facilitate the management of the Capital Budget in conjunction with the Manufacturing & Commercial leaders for both Sustenance and Organic Growth

Experience in refinery or chemical manufacturing is preferred

Mechanical (Millwright) Red Seal license/certification required.

Three (3) to Five (5) years in mechanical experience

Knowledge of BAS systems, SAP, PLC, MS Office – Word/Email, cGMP, WHMIS

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other GMP environment is preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Technician or technology diploma

Experience working in a multiple unit environment, knowledge of operations in the retail or foodservice sectors, experience in financial reporting

Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
