A college or university education within Computer Sciences

2 years of experience with desktop deployments, troubleshooting and upgrades

Previous experience completing complex Installs, moves, adds, changes of computer equipment

Effective written and verbal interpersonal skills

Serves as the primary point-of-contact for IT-related issues for distribution center associates in an assigned region.

Partners with corporate IT teams for on-site efforts, including work related to networking, telephony, and software and hardware upgrades.

Knowledge and experience using course learning management systems (i.e. D2L) is an asset

Support students in the use of eConestoga, the learning management system (D2L), as well as maintain course materials within this system

Experience teaching Biochemistry and/or other Biology and Chemistry-related courses required, with knowledge of the Biotechnology sector considered an asset

Hands-on laboratory experience in an educational or industry setting required

Create and maintain a positive learning environment which supports the diversity of students’ cultures, educational backgrounds, and learning styles

Master’s Degree in Science preferred, but a combination of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and industry experience will be considered

Strong communication & relationship management skills

Excellent organization, prioritization and follow-up skills

Knowledge of polymer industry helpful, but not necessary

Knowledge of Salesforce systems helpful, but not necessary

Develop and maintain a customer base consisting of new and existing accounts

Travel within assigned territory to service and visit with customers

Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification per Encore Technical Skillset Matrix within 180 days (Technical Skill Set Matrix or @Encore/HR/Global Learning).

1 year of audio visual experience or equivalent in educational environment is preferred.

1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.

Additional DOT requirement may need to be met if applicable.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, listening skills and the ability to understand and explain technical language.

Monitor alerts through a variety of platforms such as emails, voicemails, and parking software.
