Sub Contracts Specialist Jobs

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management required

Review contractor invoices for payment on a regular basis. Support the Cost Control team in forecasting and analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Degree, diploma, or certificate in supply chain management or equivalent experience

At least 8 years of experience

Category experience and prequal experience a huge asset

Contract execution, Contract, Outline Agreement

Access, review, enter, manipulate, interpret, and analyze data related to role

Focus on continuous improvement and compliance to Safety, Policy, Process, Procedures, Templates, Forms, and tools

Demonstrated leadership ability and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

Highly developed listening skills and the ability to integrate feedback into personal performance and departmental work

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated judgment, analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to understand patterns and trends and translate into process improvements and policy and procedural recommendations

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Proven track record and considerable experience in the establishment, ongoing management and maintenance of multi-million-dollar subcontracts

Managing the prequalification and selection of bidders.

Administrating contracts in accordance with general requirements of contractual terms and conditions.

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, Finance or Law.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or contract administration, preferably in the shipbuilding industry.

Experience in a project environment on capital projects.
