Student Services Assistant Jobs

Meeting individually and in group settings with students to offer guidance on topics related to overall student experience.

Support management and delivery of student Orientation events for students in all programs and colleges.

Develop and maintain intimate knowledge of learner experience, through activities such as personal interaction, direct observation, and solicited feedback.

Working with other Northeastern offices and staff members as necessary, manage and support resolution of student concerns and emergencies.

Create and manage opportunities for student leadership and engagement

Manage annual recruitment and training of student leaders/mentors

Schedules student appointments utilizing computer software including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and specialized disability management software programs (Clockwork)

Post-secondary education or combination of education and experience. A Certificate in Office Administration is a definite asset

Responds to inquiries from students regarding registration requirements, disability funding opportunities, and the accommodation process

Provides information about documentation requirements to register for SAS services and provides accurate information regarding SAS programs and resources
