Experience and understanding of energy sector (oil and gas) plant/facility engineering for integrity assessment, design and remedial action development

Expertise and experience with ABAQUS linear and non-linear finite element modelling of mechanical and/or structural systems

Understanding of and practical experience applying fatigue, fracture and strength of materials concepts

Good communication skills including the ability to organize thoughts, data and prepare task and project reports

Experience with Auto CAD / Civil3D.

Must be certified or eligible for certification as an Engineering Technologist by O.A.C.E.T.T.

Advanced computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Must have good communication skills, oral and written.

Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

Customer service skills with the ability to deal with contractors and developers.

Previous experience in project or construction management role.

Project Management certification would be beneficial (For example, PE or PMP).

A good Communicator – you’ve got good communication and interpersonal skills with experience of communicating at all levels across the organization.

As Project Engineering Manager, you’ll be required to undertake:

Identify Training opportunities to ensure skill levels are maintained across disciplines

Prior experience in the Wood Processing industry would be beneficial.

Manage design changes through all the cycles of the change management process.

Provide status to project and functional management.

You have knowledge of CATIA V5 (including electrical workbenches), Enovia and MS Office is required.

You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an asset.

Generate 3D EWIS harness design proposals.
