One (1) year experience as a clerk in a hospital or Personal Care Home preferred

Excellent computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office Programs

Experience working with patients/clients, families, physicians, and general staff

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of general office practices, including budget set up and tracking

Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

One (1) year experience as a clerk in a hospital or Personal Care Home preferred

Proficiency of both official languages is essential (English/French)

Completion of a recognized secretarial or business office training program required

Typing speed of 40 words per minute

Previous experience with spreadsheet and database applications required.
