Station Operator Jobs

Good knowledge and experience with a major Computer Reservations System (Troya or Quickres experience is a plus).

Minimum of 1 year experience in civil aviation or tourism.

Excellent command of English and proficiency in French. Based on equal qualifications, preference will be given to bilingual candidates.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

With a warm and friendly demeanor, you will handle Reservation/Booking, Ticket Sales, Information, and Passenger Operations (Check-in, Manifest preparation) services.

Bachelor's degree or at least high school graduation.

5+ years’ experience at a manager level in a fast-paced environment in logistics industry and in team management.

Strong interpersonal skills including leadership, conflict resolution and team building abilities.

Works with the Regional Operations Manager to set operational goals, measures and reports results on a timely basis.

Experience in project management including estimating, cost control and project administration

Review system requirements and select suitable equipment.

Intermediate English skills for professional environment, written and spoken

Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ability to manage design tasks including scope, schedule and cost

Ability to communicate efficiently including verbal and technical writing in the English language, analytical, interpersonal communications and presentation skills

Must have strong communication skills

Intermediate to advanced level keyboard and computer skills

Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.

Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Technical awareness and must be able to write reports

Experience operating small wheel loaders and other related equipment is required

Experience working within a transfer station, aggregate facility, soil blending remediation environment or with biosolids is considered an asset

Experience with routine maintenance operations

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Follow food safety requirements and good manufacturing practices as prescribed in the Gordon Food Service Food Safety

Scan customer items stored in a tote with a handheld scanner

Manually retrieve customer items ranging in weight from tote

Affix case labels to items retrieved from tote

Complete data validation on HMI screen and verify that the right item and quantity is in tote

Customer service skills are an absolute must

Good oral and written communication skills
