The main responsibilities for the Finance Manager include the following;

Undertake financial planning & analysis (FP&A) responsibilities including budgets, forecasts and asset valuation models

CPA, CA designation with a preference for candidates with public accounting experience (i.e. external audit)

Credit Card Transactions: Process the transaction payment through the Bambora platform; Credit card terminal (in campus)

Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis

Model building certification(nice to have)

Seasoned / strong experience with excel- creating models from scratch with high volume of data

Develops detailed financial and economic analysis to assist the designated business portfolio with decision support.

Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.

Provide insights to senior management for improvements that lead to cost reduction, revenue generation, and streamlined operations

Monitor, forecast, and coordinate cash management functions to manage corporate capital.

5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

Excellent knowledge of accounting/finance processes including month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, and financial statements

Prepare Canadian tax filings and ensure compliance with all requirements including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll taxes.

Assist the VP Finance and Operations with special projects as they arise.

➢ 5+ years’ experience in a management position leading an accounting department.

➢ Working knowledge of IFRS and Ontario Energy Board Regulated Accounting Principles.
