Spa Laboratory Technologist Jobs

Meditech and LIS knowledge and experience an asset

Demonstrated ability to develop skill and knowledge in required areas of the laboratory required

General certification in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized post-secondary institute

Certification through the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)

Minimum one (1) year recent laboratory experience in related discipline(s), as required by assigned area, preferred

General knowledge of all areas of the laboratory preferred

Minimum five years' recent extensive work experience in a related area including supervisory and/or administrative experience required.

Leadership skills to coordinate workflow, supervise and promote teamwork.

Apply technical knowledge to interpretation of results, troubleshooting, and assessing of methods.

Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills required.

Fluent language skills (written and oral) in both French and English may be required.

Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.

Participate in basic quality control procedures and manage inventory.

Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in mineral processing.

Conduct accurate sample preparation from raw rock materials, maintaining a strong focus on precision.

Validate and troubleshoot newly developed in-house analytical methods to enhance research reliability.

Contribute proactively to lab support and preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal lab functionality.

Maintain comprehensive records of all generated data, upholding the integrity and traceability of research findings.

Market and sell services to maximize the student experience, revenues and yield managements business plan objectives.

Accountable for coordinating work study student schedules ensuring all job requirements and standards are met directed by the Spa Manager.

A minimum of a 2-year diploma or equivalent in Esthetician Spa Management or Laboratory Technician.

Maintains logs and other documentation, and reports all incident or accident to the Spa manager on a daily and weekly basis.

Assist Spa Manager with tours for all external stakeholders to promote positive community relations and partnerships.

Effectively resolve faculty, guest and student complaints and communicate with the Spa Manager regarding issues and resolutions.
