Providing strong leadership on assigned categories. Understand and communicate financial impacts. Strong communication skills. Manage vendor relationships and appraise vendor performance.

Knowledge and experience with Oracle

Minimum of 5-10 years of procurement work experience, in a fast-paced organization

Must possess excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Build and maintain relationships with associated departments e.g. Marketing, Store Development, Merchandising, Operations, Category Management, Pharmacy, Finance etc.

Previous knowledge of database management tools is preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage internal and external stakeholders.

Assists in effective strategic supplier relationship management, risk analysis and compliance management programs with regard to category management.

Understanding of forecasting, inventory management and procurement would be an asset.

Manage vendors, execute product set up, monitor inventory, create purchase orders and reconcile invoices for our Procurement warehouse.
