Solutions Architect Intern Jobs in British Columbia

Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure Services: AzDO, Azure App Services, SQL-Managed, EC2, CloudFormation.

Degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). An equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.

10+ years of development/architecture experience on cloud.

Experience in architecting complex solutions (large-scale, multi-region, HA, 10K+ concurrent users, mission-critical application systems) involving various cloud computing technologies.

Working experience architecting and implementing diverse cloud solutions.

Experience with Micro-Service Architecture, Kubernetes and Containers solutions, Multi-region API and Messaging Solutions.

Design and architect end-to-end solutions for automating incident management processes.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, Nifi, Kubernetes, Kafka, ELK, and Gitlab CICD.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and gather product requirements.

Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a strong background in Legacy Voice Network systems (DMS, RCU, DMS1U, etc.).

Contribute to project scheduling and workload management

0-5 years of experience in architecture and/or construction

Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills

Participate in project design workshops

Contribute to project design packages with diagrams, drawings and renderings

Contribute to physical model's and mock ups - built collaboratively as a team

3-6 Years experience, in Canada

Effective and concise communication, organizational and leadership skills

Architecture or Technologist degree from an accredited program

Understanding of sustainable design, including LEED and BC Energy Step Code, as well as local building codes and standards.

Must be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia

To work with an established boutique firm, focused on creating sustainable and community engaged buildings

Project management experience is an asset

Related work/internship experience is considered an asset

Must be legally able to work in Canada

Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college.
