Minimum of 7 years of experience developing web-based software products with multiple teams and diverse stakeholders

Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (we use React)

Experience working with Azure DevOps or JIRA (we use Azure DevOps) along with version control (Git)

Proven team management skills, including mentoring and developing team members

Collaborate with groups throughout Morningstar to proactively identify and manage dependencies

A minimum of 9 year’s software development experience, which should include 3+ years of architecture/technical leadership

Strong hands-on development experience using C# and SQL databases

Experience in JavaScript frameworks like Angular or VueJS or ReactJS is a strong plus

Solid understanding and experience with AWS

Establish and manage development and deployment standards, including code guidelines and quality standards.

Demonstrated successful administrative ability, including budget and financial management processes, public relations, strategic planning, policy formation, staff management and supervision

Identify requirements for changes in staffing needs, adjust existing staff allocations and recommends additional resources as appropriate;

Manage and approve scheduling for vacations for support staff ensuring that there is adequate coverage;

Assigns work in accordance with team responsibilities and priorities, in conjunction with overall departmental goals

Complete analyses and presentations as required, presenting findings to various stakeholders including senior management.

Develop and manage effective and efficient offshore transportation networks through sourcing, maintaining strong relationships and partnerships within the industry.

Work with the manager on priorities, timelines, resource assignment, issue resolution, communications, team development, and performance reviews.

Minimum 5 years working in related fields with international supply chain experience a strong asset.

Have and/or obtain professional education in international product flow, customs and compliance, freight forwarding and related international transportation designations.

Data-driven and analytics experience that drives understanding of the value of the Argus report and potential new opportunities.
