Managing and controlling operational and capital budgets, monthly reporting, and supporting in budget preparation.

Administering the processes for recruitment of new faculty under the supervision of the Executive Dean and Associate Deans.

Resolving issues with students and working to mediate concerns and arrive at formal or informal resolutions.

Participating in faculty-level marketing and outreach to the community, to new students and to industry partners.

Managing the campus and faculty operations and managing the STA/HHS administrative coordinators and STA/HHS administrative assistant positions.

·Experience in curriculum development at the post-secondary level or equivalent is preferred;

·Formal studies in adult or higher education an asset;

·Strong network of contacts with other professionals in the Skilled Trades industry;

·Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;

Minimum three-year diploma/certificate in Business, Office Administration, Human Services, Communications, Education or a related field. Experience in student affairs is preferred.

Supports apprenticeship student communication strategy using Envoke to prepare complex, targeted email communications, includes data entry and some design work

3 years of experience; preferably in an office, event planning, or post-secondary environment

Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills are essential

Programs & Services Assistant - Skilled Trades

Main contact for incoming and current apprenticeship student inquiries

Collaborating with leadership to evaluate current and future talent requirements for skilled trades positions across all businesses and departments

2+ years of experience in skilled trades recruiting and headhunting, specifically Automotive Service Technicians

Proven experience in sourcing candidates for skilled trades positions

Composing and publishing compelling job postings to attract skilled trades candidates

Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft engaging messaging to attract candidates

Experience in cold calling is an advantage

Self-starting individual with excellent time management skills.

Consistently achieving individual sales goals through our selling model throughout all product offerings.

Helping customers grow their business and offer a single point of contact for their ongoing needs.

Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.

Individual’s motor vehicle record must also comply with company requirements.

Experience with trade sales in the construction industry is an asset.

2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Formal Education, Training and Occupational Certification

Understand and apply a variety of skilled maintenance techniques used in various Parks trades.

Keep records and inventories as required; make recommendations on hard and soft landscape improvements.

Provide instructions and information to other staff as required.

Occasionally respond to general enquiries from the public and other departments.

Strong safety culture. Great attitude, and aptitude. Excellent communication skills.
