Skid Steer Loader Operator Jobs

Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as an Excavator/Dozer operator.

Experience with finishing work (sloping, leveling) required.

CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Clean Shaven for Mask Fit Test

Drug and alcohol testing (urine-based test)

Must have at least 2 years of experience operating on equipment on civil or hard rock mining construction scopes

Experience as a production loader running mine size gear ( CAT 988 large wheel loader)

Experience loading and carrying various materials

Must have own Safety boots -Requirement is 6" lace up steel toed (CSA Approved)

Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement

Willingness to work in in the Northern Ontario area and live-in remote camps, working on a rotational schedule with flights provided

At least two (2+) years’ experience running a loader.

Experience loading rail cars, trucks, belly dumps, bins, etc.

Excellent problem solving skills required.

CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)

Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.

Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.

Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches used in structural concrete.

3 to 5 years’ experience operating John Deere 844 or equivalent loaders on a highway construction sites

Operate various sized loaders safely and efficiently on Highway Construction projects

Communicate with other operators and crew members in work area

Load trucks and feed asphalt plant

Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a valid driver’s abstract

Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure completion to meet deadlines

Rubber Tire loader, CAT 950 with pipe clamps experienced considered an asset

Experience and comfortability working from heights and around heavy equipment

Problem solving, decision making and effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting

Work alongside yard labours to load and unload tubular pipes onto trucks

2+ years of experience operating skid steers in a construction environment.

Previous experience on an Excavator would be an asset.

Experience with other heavy equipment considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Operate skid steers in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining proper care and maintenance of the machine.

Load, unload and move materials, load trucks, excavation, and finished grading.

One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.

Must be able to pass training and safety requirements.

At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.

Excellent customer service attitude and skills.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.

Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training

Competitive wages depending on experience and equipment versatility from $32 to $36

$135 LOA for remote workers (no camps)

Shift in and Shift Out Allowance for remote workers up to a maximum of $400 each way

Company provided transportation to some remote locations

Preference to those with experience operating other heavy-duty equipment
