Site Operations Leader Jobs in Ontario

This person will report to the Factory Manager and serve as a key member of the leadership team.

Ten or more years of production experience in a manufacturing environment

Minimum five years in a supervisory or managerial role

Knowledge and exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, and various problem-solving methodologies

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Lead a team of associates to achieve production metrics in a manner consistent with our culture and values.

8+ years in a senior operational management position

Superior project management, operational planning, interpersonal relations, communication, and effectively coaching team members are essential to be successful in this role.

Work collaboratively with Arrow shared services functional leaders to attain customer requirements and business growth

Manage communication throughout the organization through town halls and operations team meetings

10+ years experience in a CNC machining and/or fabrication environment is required.

Significant knowledge around Lean Principles, Operational KPI implementation and execution, knowledge of MRP systems and advanced excel knowledge is highly preferred.

Work with facility and other resources to apply Matterport 3D scanning to accelerate process knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Work with key OEMs to establish process and asset knowledge certifications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Wood Production/Building Materials Operations

Experience building operational troubleshooting material

Experience in Digital Process Optimization

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibility.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience in a similar role 5-7yrs – Food Industry

Previous experience in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing, CPG

Bachelor's degree in a related field-preferred

Confident and effective communicator with strong interpersonal and team-management skills

Minimum of 5 years Senior Manufacturing Management experience principally focused on operations

Providing effective operations/maintenance management, ensuring that all reports and related activities are completed within required guidelines and operational parameters

Able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities

Solid knowledge of Best-in-Class manufacturing operations

10-15 years of progressively responsible experience in Manufacturing

Support business unit growth while continuing to build and lead a strong team of people with cross-functional responsibilities

Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry or related industry is required

Understanding of lean, continuous improvement, quality and related topics, with relevant work experience

Related post-secondary business education degree or equivalent is preferred

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsible for the business unit’s operations capacity planning and resources

Act as a liaison between Site Manager and inspectors

Computer skills Microsoft Office (basic Microsoft Excel proficiency) and Outlook

1+ years of work experience in a supervisory role preferred

Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and site personnel

Daily communications with various stakeholders at the site level

Set up and supervise missions

Act as a liaison between Site Manager and inspectors
