Site Logistics Operator Jobs

Profit and loss responsibility for site (comprehension of pricing models)

Directs and assists site teams and controller in analyzing strategic and tactical processes and related costs

Liaises with client to acquire detailed understanding of their short and longer term service needs

Provides technical and process advise and gauge client’s satisfaction levels

Ensures compliance with Health and Safety procedures and practices.

Review of site level business plans to support the attainment of corporate objectives and budget

Operate and monitor high speed equipment

Help continuous improvement by following Key Performance Indicators;

Perform process quality control checks;

Execute industrial cleaning and sanitation;

Read, monitor and interpret performance metrics;

Lift object up to 50 lbs.

· Strong stakeholder management skills to engage, seek input and manage expectations of various internal departmental requirements

· Issuing and negotiating Letters of Credit through the internal Treasury / Trade Finance desk

· Undergraduate degree in logistics, finance, economics, international business, or a similar related field

· Advanced knowledge of MS Office

· Prior experience in mining/trading/logistics & freight forwarding industry would be an asset

· Organized high achiever with an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and confident communication skills

Experience: 1+ years in a technical field, OR completion of a technical certificate/degree program. Electrical testing considered an asset.

Experience in construction and energy infrastructure and maintenance considered an asset.

Experience using SharePoint, Maximo and Microsoft Office Suite considered an asset.

Perform mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting as needed including utility locates.

Observe and ensure completion of work carried out by the Maintenance Provider for turbines.

Monitor and maintain the infrastructure of the facility, including roadways, collection systems and transmission lines.

2+ years leadership / management experience with 10-15 direct reports

Deal with performance issues and consult with HR / Management guidance for complex issues Warehouse Operations

Managerial / direct experience with distribution centre processes required (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and sub-assembly);

Support Warehouse Manager in following financial obligations

Oversee all warehouse services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met

In collaboration with Warehouse Manager, keep warehouse supplies stocked and re-order when needed using cost-saving methods when available

Demonstrates problem solving and time management skills.

Reporting large or complex problems to management or the maintenance team

Open to learning and improving own skills with a can-do attitude.

Performing product change overs, CIP’s on the filler(s) and sanitation.

Controlling computerized panels with progress for the line.

Tracking packaging materials for usage/loss rates.
