Manage Windows, Linux and Mac OS level hardening and security patching.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience

1-5+ years of System/Network Engineer experience

Experience installing desktops, laptops (Windows/Mac.), monitors, VoIP phones and printers

Experience with service desk software and incident response workflows (JIRA service desk, BMC Remedy, or equivalent)

Experience installing computing and networking hardware including Dell servers, Cisco Routers, and switches.

Apply ITIL, project management, engineering, cybersecurity, and leadership skills across different teams to align plans, solve problems, and deliver results

Knowledge in network operations and/or application management

Build organizational capability while delivering upskilling initiatives for digital technology

Experience in manufacturing or supply chain technologies and systems

Lead a team of technology specialists and deliver flawless operational excellence

Work with the Digital Team operating in one of our technology driven manufacturing sites

Knowledge/experience with routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless technologies is advantageous.

Manage local network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

College diploma or university degree in computer science or equivalent work experience (7+ years).

Minimum of 5+ years' experience in network administration.

Asset to have working experience with Cisco Meraki infrastructure.

Networking certifications such as Cisco (CCNA) and Fortinet would be beneficial.

Excellent project management, time management and prioritization skills.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a System Administrator or similar role.

Strong customer service skills and focus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Advanced knowledge of Windows and VMware technology.

Maintaining applications; adding functionality/capabilities, repairs, updates, altering, re-engineering work practices and processes to assist Vuteq in capitalizing on its strengths.

Minimum of 2 years of programming experience is preferred

Networking experience is considered an asset

Help desk experience is considered an asset

Experience in the automotive industry would be considered an asset

Strong problem-solving skillset, with the ability to think outside the box, and provide deep dive analysis of issues / resolutions

Knowledgeable about myopia control and scleral lenses

Minimum of five years of progressive and diverse hands-on clinical experience in the optical industry and contact lenses fitting

Refraction experience and prescribing is an asset

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment are required
