Apprentices with relevant shop experience may be considered

Assist Category Manager in building planogram; list and de-list skus, charge vendors markdown fees and coordinate funds to Finance.

Manage merchandising direction through Advertising department and provide support for sample collection/ other activities associated with the Flyer/Seasonal processes.

Support Category Manager in planning weekly promotions.

Initiate and/or manage revenue and expense activities between Retail Banners, McKesson and vendors.

Experience in Category Management or Account Management

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience

Proven experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

Support the company’s growth ambitions by working directly with internal and external stakeholders. Drive beverage growth across multiple retailers or channels.

Applying expert skills in data analytics, market research, sourcing, relationship and software/ SaaS contract management for mission critical services

Conducting major contract negotiations, strategic sourcing activities, cross functional projects, risk and relationship management, and savings initiatives

Driving best in class strategic sourcing that supports profitable growth, reliability and an unsurpassed client experience

Experience using Procurement technology and SAP at an advanced level

MBA or a professional certification(s) from SCMA or CIPS or ISM

Developing and leading the execution of network technology procurement strategies

Knowledge of project ethics and evaluation.

Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for leadership review and consideration.

Ability to coordinate and evaluate processes and procedures.

Ability to plan, organize, problem solve, analyze and prioritize work.

Ability to learn software database applications.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation is considered an asset

Understanding of supply chain – logistics, purchasing, shipping/receiving, inventory management and purchasing practices and procedures

1-3 years’ supply chain and procurement experience in a high-volume distribution environment (preferred)

Previous experience working with AS400 Systems an asset.
