Experience using hand tools and performing routine maintenance operations.

Welding according to pre-set parameters using MIG welding processes

Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

Experience should be over three (3) months up to and including twelve (12) months.

Interpret drawings; position fit, block, clamp, and tack parts to obtain proper alignment. Select proper welding equipment and material as prescribed;

Regulate current, voltage, and pressure for proper fusion of metals. Check welds for adherence to specifications. Rework as necessary.

Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.

Complete all required records and reports.

Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.

Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area

Experience with Flux Core is an asset

Experience with gridding tools and drill press

Demonstrates to users the operation of equipment and instrumentation as required.
