Job Description
PeopleReady ofAyr, ON is now hiring Welders!Our client is a family own business who specialized in power transmission and material handling systems and components. They are looking to hire several individuals to join their night shift teams.You will do 4-8 weeks of training on day shifts (Monday to Thursday 7AM to 4:30PM and Friday 7 AM to 3:30PM). After training you will move to night shifts from Monday to Thursday 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM.Benefits are offered after 3 months.

Pay Rate


The pay rate for this job is $24 - $26 / hourplus $1.50 night shift premium.


What You'll Be Doing As a Welder


  • Read blueprints and instructions to perform tasks
  • Inspect welds and use grinding tools when necessary
  • Weld metal parts using Mig Welding process

Shift Timings:3rd Shift (Night)


Job Requirements


  • Reliable transportation to Ayr, ON.
  • Experience with Flux Core is an asset
  • Read and comprehend instructions in English
  • Mig welding experience
  • Experience with gridding tools and drill press
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada.
  • Have reliable transportation to Ayr, Ontario (no public transport)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and physically able to handle heavy items.
